Pretty much. After not publishing The Scribe last week, I was hoping for more interesting things in this issue.
I do wonder if there are more new weapons/skins to be found or if they're just speaking hypothetically.

Crappy weekends? Dont discriminate against PvPers just because we get a weekend here or there. PvEers get events as well...
These weekends are great and Im sure most will agree with me.

The scribe brought up an interesting point that I had forgotten (and that I think some other people probably forgot as well). Guilds and the battles between them are an important part of Guild War's lore. Therefore, despite the fact that War Machine is the champion of the pvp world, technically they are also now the champion of all the guilds of the Canthan islands.
P.S. A-net is really lucky that the winning guild didn't have a really strange name, otherwise it would sound really odd if the Scribe was congratulating them.

Yeah, had "The Carpetmunchers" won, Anet would be quite embarassed.

The two 'unknown' skins he referred to are the ones in the underworld and fissure. These two god's realms are *supposed* to be secret and stuff, and nor did he mention the gloom shield/grinning recurve in his account of the new skins.

*yawn* indeed
Godly super rare weapons hijacked! These super weapons fallen into villian hands! Oh wait! They have the same +30 HP mods as Joe N00b's weapons! And they don't give higher than 20% HCT/HSR as well! Even the Gods use 15-22 damage swords!
Wow!!

These weekends have been subpar, The items PWN. I dunno if he is discriminating but I disagree with both of you, on the thing about PvP you guys have a game DEDICATED to PvP and PvE'ers have a game DEDICATED to PvE coming soon. neither of you have the right to discriminate or complain, but now on the weekends issue I don't know if you all have noticed it or not but ever since the weekends started lagging out and err7 has been at an all-time high. I think these weekends need to STOP at least temporarily so Anet can assess the situation in order to reduce this lag.. I would gladly give up a nice weekend or two to be able to actually play the rest of the time.

You know what A-net should do?
they should add three new places in the Temple of Ages
each one for each statue <3.
Dwyanas would lead to some heaven-ish place, Melendrus would lead to a forest (not a dark one like echovald, a more brighter mood), and Lyssa's would lead to... meh still working on it :P

You're traveling through another dimension -- a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's a signpost up ahead: your next stop: the Twilight Zone!
You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into... the Twilight Zone.
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call "The Twilight Zone".

As far as weekends go, ANet is trying to increase play numbers without caving on its original claim that Factions will have no "extensions" like Sorrow's Furnace. If I were an ANet detractor, I'd say that they can see the play numbers (without showing them to us) and are getting desperate. If I were an ANet lapdog, I'd say that they can see a need to break away from the routine, a need for "fun weekends" if not "fun holidays," because not every weekend can be a holiday. Being who I am, I'm saying they've finally realized they've outdone themselves in making Factions short and now they're doing everything they can to keep the players engaged before Nightfall hits.
But back to the Scribe. I'm delighted to see the editing has improved greatly. It's not the Scribe's fault that the Scribe lacks content, though. The Scribe can only reflect the game world, and if the Scribe lacks content it's the game world that lacks content. If "Shiro's Furnace" opened up last week, the Scribe would still have things to say about it a month from now... just as we're gearing up for Nightfall
